   Very well Organized!

   What an amazing show and opportunity for my daughter (who was in the production). I cannot say enough good thing about Ashley Taft's patience, vision and grace. What an amazing leader for my daughter to look up to!

     It was fantastic ❤️❤️.This was my child’s 1st theater experience and she enjoyed alot

   Wonderful job done by all! Very impressive with only 8 weeks to put on an incredible production.

 It was a wonderful show!

   I think they needed more rehearsal time. Also the sound system in the theater was very bad. The background music was so loud that we couldn’t hear the kids.

   The band was very good!!!

   We really enjoyed The Sternwheelers, please have them back!!

   Very good but disappointed they did not have any bagpipes worked into their music.

 Great, lots of talent and wonderful show.  

   Very talented musicians indeed.It was difficult to hear all the words although we were in the second row.The band mentioned it was their third gig that day.Suggest they maybe up their wardrobe a bit to make a little festive,lively colors.

   This was a delightful performance and I’m so glad we attended. The singing was joyful and enthusiastic and the voices of the tenors were particularly impressive. The staging and costumes were simple and kept all the attention where it should be—on the action and the actors. I love community theater and this performance was exactly what community theater should be. How wonderful to have a Light Opera company here in Franklin and I’m already looking forward to Pirates! &#

   Unbelievable singing voices. Can’t wait for Pirates Penzance

   The Franklin Light Opera cast was fantastic. I can hardly wait to see them perform The Pirates of Penzance in September.

     Phenomenal talent on the stage, in the pit, and behind the scenes -- such a great show all around!

 A remarkable show full of talent, laughter, and beautiful music! I will be sharing about this experience to friends and family, and I can't wait to see another show in the future.

   Congratulations on a successful performance. Good singers. Very good violinist, couldn't tell if her microphone was working. Funny performances. Seats are uncomfortable. Good audio, appreciate the simplicity of a few overhead mics instead of everyone wearing individual mics. Overheard a few audience members saying none of their friends knew of the event. We were invited by a cast member. Congratulations. Hope the rest of the performances are as good or better!

   It was very enjoyable and also educational.

   Love the whole show! The singer was amazing. Storytelling was captivating! Loved the band.

   Really liked the exent. The Lady and the Empress was done very well. She seemed like it was her real personality. That is a sign of good acting. Experience was great and she was great. Liked the music.

   Timely performance and so much context about the history of the blues origination African Americans.

   A little too rough and bawdy. A litrtle too informal.While the re-enactment may have been accurate, it would have been OK with me if the actress left out some of Bessie's less desirable characteristics. Drinking and aplying makeup on stage probably are important characteristics of Bessie's actually personality, but, like many of mine, it's OK if folks leave those out of my heritage.

     Cute show. Good work. The sound system in that theater continues to distract from the performance. Scratchy and cuts in and out. It needs to be fixed if you are continue to use it this venue for your Franklin shows.

   i LOVED this event ! the acting was really good. The lighting design was so phenomenal !!! they were absolutely beautiful.

   We have a friends granddaughter performing lesser parts but she loves it and we love them. We particularly like WWJr. It kept us engaged and entertained throughout. The “effects” were nicely done.🤗🤩

   Motown was wonderful the performers were great and nailed the magic of Motown, we look forward to attending future events !

   This was my first time to attend. The show was fabulous. The band and the performers were beyond expectations. I definitely will be back. We had so much fun.

     Music was great and volume perfect. Staff always very nice and helpfull.

   It was fabulous!

   The audio was not balanced well between the vocals and the sound track. Also the space isn’t that large and didn’t need the overall sound volume that high.

   Fabulous performance! Show was quick paced with NO lull times.

   What fun! I wasn't sure what to expect and found it a roller coaster of memorable performances,a big heartfelt smile.

   It was our first time attending a Backlight event and it was WONDERFUL. We will be back!

   The play was really good, but when the director explained they missed tech week due to weather & only had a chance for a dress rehearsal on Saturday, I was blown away! They also had some cast members who were not able to attend this weekend, so others stepped up & everything was seamless! I’m so glad we went!

   The ensemble did a good job,an exuberant effort.I knew nothing about the storyline so at times was a little difficult to follow but glad we attended to support this fine acting troupe.

  This was such a great show! The kids are so talented and the audience was very supportive.

 the makeup and props done for this was amazing. the lightning in this play was creative and very well done.

   Aside from some muffled dialogue by some of the actors,a we wonderful performance and loved the make up.

   Drama People once again had an amazing performance. Actors were phenomenal and did a great job telling the compelling story of Frankenstein.

   Heard from others who attended as my guests that they thoroughly enjoyed the event and look forward to attending next year's Celebration of Nations.

   M.C. was sensational

     It was good - just would have liked more traditional Celtic music - but that's just our taste. Performers were wonderful!!!

   The show was FA! What talent and skill this band has. Beautiful music! So happy we attended!

   The music was good but not very “Christmasy”. A little too much talking too

   They seemed venue & ticket price appropriate with a couple of better songs. I would like to see the pirates perform again with the amazing dancing violinist.

   We thought it would be more traditional Christmas songs in a Celtic fashion, not songs they had written. They were good, just not what we expected.

   It was fantastic! Incredible musicians, and the lady singing was exceptional. Great evening.

     We were in row P and it was difficult to understand the lyrics. I believe it was a sound issue and not the group's issue. Hope you get a sound engineer soon. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

     Not good. Left st intermission. Very disappointing.

   Beautiful story, very heartwarming, very real … brought me to tears!!! Music, songs & especially the lyrics - powerful & perfect blend that enhanced the storyline! Thank you!!

   Too many songs, disjointed story and a problem with the sound they did not fix

   The musical was really good in content. They all tried very hard and the meaning of this show was great. There were issues with the sound multiple times throughtout the show and with multiple people. The balcony seats were very close together. But all in all, I would come back. So glad to have learned about this Arts Center. Will try more shows in the future!
